March 3, 2026Mike Torchia and Jeff DiAmico will be presenting at the 8th Annual Bucks County Business Law Institute, Thursday May 14, 2026. This CLE features courses for both litigators and transactional attorneys, including an ethics course. Lawyers can earn up to six CLE credits, and can attend in person or remotely.
Due to the fast-paced changes in the law at both the state and federal level, Mike will be presenting topics that will allow business attorneys to spot employment law issues for their clients with the objective of avoiding liability for the company and its management.
Jeff will be leading off the Business Law Institute co-presenting the topic of receiverships. A receiver is appointed by the Court when a business is in crisis, or when the management of the business are litigating against each other or can otherwise no longer govern the affairs of the business. The receiver has the important job of overseeing the day to day operations of the business including the financial affairs, and reporting to the Judge.
