Biography: Ms. O’Rourke concentrates her practice in general business and corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate finance, real estate and contract matters. She has represented closely-held companies, mid-size and publicly-held companies, and individuals. Ms. O’Rourke has assisted clients with negotiating contracts including service and supply agreements, employment agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements and non-compete agreements. Ms. O’Rourke’s experience includes counseling clients with corporate, partnership and LLC formation and governance issues.

Ms. O’Rourke graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1996. She received her J.D. cum laude from Villanova University School of Law in 1999, where she was a member of the Environmental Law Review. Prior to joining the firm in January 2008, Ms. O’Rourke was as an associate in the business law department of a large Philadelphia law firm for five years, and then served as Associate Corporate Counsel of a multi-national manufacturing company with over $500 million in annual revenues and 1800 employees.
