Biography: Mr. Smith graduated magna
cum laude from Temple University with a degree in psychology and
attended Temple University School of Law graduating cum
laude. After several
years of practicing law in Philadelphia, Mr. Smith joined Semanoff
Ormsby Greenberg & Torchia, LLC in 1998. His
current practice concentrates in the areas of corporate law, business
transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, debtor/creditor
relations, real estate and estate planning. He
counsels clients, large and small, including businesses involved in manufacturing,
marketing, commercial finance, pharmaceutical research, professional
services, real estate management and
development, construction, retail and e-commerce. In
addition, Mr. Smith has experience with start-up ventures, family-owned
businesses, limited liability companies and non-profit
organizations. He also
represents individuals and families in estate and business succession
planning. Mr.
Smith credits his success to a tireless work ethic, attention to detail,
strong organizational skills and a deep sense of caring for his
clients, their businesses and concerns.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Smith has taught as an adjunct professor in the Legal and Real Estate Studies Department at Temple University. He has interned for two federal judges; the Honorable Herbert Hutton in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Joseph Rodriguez in the United States District Court in Camden. |
